Sunday Morning Programs

Sunday morning classes are held for Kindergarten through the 4th grade during worship. To help our children grow in their appreciation of worship, we provide the “Kids of the Kingdom” ministry. Using age appropriate curriculum children are instructed in the various elements of worship.

Nursery care is available throughout the morning for children under the age of five years.

"Kids of the Kingdom"

(Elementary K - 4th grade)

Kids of the Kingdom is SJPC’s children’s program during worship services. After the anthem, elementary aged kids head to class to pray, worship and learn together. We provide Christ-centered teaching in a way that helps kids build foundations of faith as they begin to understand “the Big God Story” and how they are a part of a much larger community of faith of past, present and future believers. Please join us for this fun, creative, God-centered class!

Treasure House Food of the Month

Each month at St. John's we collect a monthly food item for our donation to Treasure House. Treasure House helps to keep pantries full for those in need.
Households with
children are the largest demographic group accessing emergency food boxes (EFB). The average number of EFB's distributed monthly in Clark County has increased from 9,500 to 10,100 and 39% of those receiving hunger relief from this source are children.

March is boxed mac & cheese month.
It’s great as a side dish and serves well as a light dinner or a satisfying lunch. It’s a food that kids from 2 through 102 can sink their gums or teeth into. Besides having a high likeability factor, this comfort food and American staple has an    interesting history that reveals a patriotic past. The fact that it had the reputation for being a nutritious alternative to a meat dish also helped in making it a best seller.
